It depends how insane a rider is and how much the pure sport bike guys want to crank it up. Top speeds on the modern liter class bikes are 30 - 40 mph faster than the GTS. I still say, with equal riders, the pure sport bike wins unless your doing a marathon ride, where after a few hours those sport bike guys will be really sore.
