There should not be a problem actually obtaining it in a reasonable amount of time, according to the dealer. This usually means one to fifteen days from previous experience. Dealer data can be found here: www.angeleiros.com . Good luck! On a different note, I've been riding my brother-in-law's CBR 600 these days. Apart from the obvious ridicule of me (the 6'2" Michelin man) riding such a tiny bike, a couple things surfaced. Here's them: -I really need more than one bike. I need four, actually: the GTS, a BMW R 1150 GS for two-up backroads travelling and general fun (yes, Mike (Coan), I know...), a featherweight sport bike to push my eyeballs further into its sockets, and an enduro bike for the grins (and as the ultimate weight-loss machine). -Sportbikes are fun. Yes, I knew it, but I had forgotten. At least until the wind is about to rip your arms off. Then they're not anymore, and I'm longing for my GTS. -Dunno about US models, but compared to the CBR, my GTS headlight turns night into day, with no mods. -The GTS is a pig going into turns. My forearm muscles gained mass from pushing her into our twisties. Anyone saying they can keep kids on sportbikes at bay with their GTS is only kidding himself, or the kids are pitying grandpa and letting him ride in front. And I keep hearing that once in a while... -Even so, I wouldn't exchange bikes with my in-law in a million years. Funny, isn't it? Roberto.
