I also have the filament type heaters on my GTS. I just put the rubber grips directly over the filaments without any glue or sticky stuff. In two years there has been no movement. Friction seems to be enough..

Hairspray works great and its CHEAP...though I imagine that anything that is slick, yet will evaporate would work. Go to the drugstore and buy the cheapest stuff on the shelf. The carrier will evaporate leaving the sticky stuff there to help hold the grips in place. Regards, Henry S.
