I'm planning to keep my GTS for a long time. So far it only has a bit over
12400 miles. I'm on my second set of tires, the Pirelli Dragons and very
happy with them, I might add. As this bike is so "out of date" in regards
to current manufactures, and particularly spares, it seems somewhat prudent
to look down the road and think about certain maintenance items that may not
be available in the future, so that behooves the question: Are these good
shocks for the GTS? They ain't cheap @ $512+ for the YA302 and $473+ for
the YA303. What else are available and at what price. What other items
ought we to be thinking about regarding repair/replacement which may not be
available in several years?
