Add a half quart of oil.....window needs to show oil level almost to the top
of it with a very small amount of air space showing.

GTS's use oil....but so do a lot of BMW's.  We are simply not used to the
problem with a Jap bike.  I imagine it is simply the design of the oil wiper
rings. When you push up into the eighties for long periods it can use up a
half quart every other tank.
