Just happened into those guys on Stewart's point-Skaggs Spring road. BTW, if
you ever find yourself in Northern California you must ride that road(
http://www.pashnit.com/roads/cal/SkaggsSpringRd.htm ).
The west side of the road is a bit of a goat trail and the three GS's past
us at a much speedier pace, the third one two up. I was thinking to myself,
I'm gonna pass those guys when we get to the smooth stuff. The east side is
like a racetrack (except for the metal guard rails and other death-inducing
obsticals if you f up). Anyway we took a short break at the top and they
apparently did too. We past them just as they were getting going again down
the front, smooth side of the road. I managed to stay in front for a few
turns then waved them on by again. That GS is alot faster in the twisties
than you would think. Heh....I guess the riders have a bit to do with it
too. At least I didn't get passed by the two up couple down the front side.
;-)
