No wonder your limey air is so polluted. Just kidding folks. When I was in England in the mid-70s on a college trip, I couldn't believe that the air was as dirty as it was AND all the Brits seemed to be smokers too! We may have some problems here in the US of A, but our air is a hell of a lot healthier than some folks on this little planet.
