Here's the info on my exhaust . I rang my mate tonight , to ask him if he remembers which downpipes/collector box i fitted to my bike , he said it was a FZR1000 EXUP , but i feel sure it was a Thunder Ace YZF1000R, so the problem is which do i have ? Well i asked my mate if the 2 exhausts were the same ( down pipes / box only ) his reply was that Akrapovic exhausts list both models as using the same exhaust ( their own brand ). So it would seem to me that the downpipes / box are probably almost identical . http://www.webbikes.co.za/asp/catalog/products.asp?CatID=32 http://www.pdq1.co.uk/skorpion.htm The only other thing that i can note about my exhaust is that it has 1 cap screw at the lower point of each down pipe to set the cylinder mixtures , 4 screws in total .
Note: Robin Gammons post "Your exhaust" , there are quite few changes that i made to the exhaust . Sorry i can't be much more help than this , other than to say as soon as i replace my downpipes / box , i'll let you know which i got .
