I got some bad news this week. I have been walking the Appalachian Trail and completed about 750 miles when I had some small chest pains. It wasn't enough to cause me concern but there are few people in the woods on the southern end of the trail now and if I was to get hurt the possibility of someone finding me soon was remote so I decided come home for a few days. I had some more chest pains so went to the hospital to have it checked out. Short version: I have had a heart attack and caused some damage to my heart muscle and need to rest for about 6 weeks. This includes NOT riding a motorcycle. So with that in mind I think I will go ahead a sell both my bikes for right now and get something else (lighter) later on, possibly a VFR800 or R1100S.
