Never believe indicated speeds...Cycle World says the FZ1 does 154 mph (248 kph)...

The guy on the FZ1 was moving faster enough that he was literally out of sight of my parrot...he says the speedo indicated 240kph. He claims that the FZ1 tops out at almost 260KPH. More to the point, it's a really pretty bike! My parrot could probably have squeezed another few [MK]ph out of the faster blue GTS, but it was already at about 9K RPM.
