I've had a couple of friends say that the GTS was a better bike in their
opinion.  And they don't even own one.  I think the FJR is not going to end
up being the "awesome" machine we were all hoping for.  I said a couple of
years ago, that if Yamaha came out with a bike that had the R1's engine and
a shaft drive I'd trade my GTS in for it, but from what I heard the FJR sits
the rider too upright and the windscreen is too far away.  And the fit and
finish is supposedly questionable.  I'll have to wait to see and ride it in
person, but I'm very happy with the seating position and the lines on the
GTS.  And I still think that the single sided swingarm is a better system
than forks.

BTW.  I still ride on the stock seat and have done two 1000 mile days this
year already, it's not that bad for me.
