Darren, I don't know what your experiencing, but all I can do is tell you my story. I replaced my original chain at 39,000 miles with a 530 on original [yes original] sprockets. I know that's considered a NO,NO but the original sprockets looked so good ,I thought, why not? My bike ran smoother and quieter with no drive line lash than it had with the old 39,000 mile chain. Of course that is what I expected. I have'nt been riding much lately,[too damn hot in Florida] but I have put 13,000 miles on the "new" 530 chain still on original sprockets and everything is smooth and quite. Just reporting my experience. -Pete --- Darren Wright <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Whew this SUCKS. > > I replaced a chain for a ride coming up this > weekend, only to find that > it is the wrong kind.
