I'm currently using the Dunlop 220's (replacements for
the 205's) and find them (Dunlop 205/220's) to be
consistent if not great, which is what they were meant
to be, I think. I've touched stuff down under control
with every tire since stock (thanks to Pat for showing
me how easy it's done!) and am not all that good.
This would include Avons, Michelins, Slipstones--sorry
Kev, Bridgestones, and Metzlers. All Sport/Touring,
not the real sticky stuff (I'm too cheap), mostly
120/70 front and 180/55 rear. Slap some on and go for
a ride--tires on a GTS are like the weather in
Florida--if you don't like it, just wait a little
while and it'll be different...
