I doubt you will find it to hot at the top of Mt Evans :^) I was up there in early July, full leathers, it was a little cool when I took of my helmet. The fun part was watching the Tourons jump from the minivans run about 20 feet in there shorts, the beeline back for something warm. > I'd suggest basing ourselves somewhere central like Frisco. Unless you have never been to Estes, between the speed limits and the campers, I've made my pass thru on a bike. The roads west of boulder, nederland and wondervu are nice for short trips and berthoud pass I always hit, usually on the ride in to the area thru steamboat. > These are 250-350 mile rides, both crossing the continental divide > four times and packed with spectacular roads and scenery. > I wonder if we'd break the 38 GTS record? > Joe. 38 a big number, getting 50 people to ride in from around the country for a personal gathering is work. It would be nice to see. Jerry Wills
