I doubt you will find it to hot at the top of Mt Evans :^)
I was up there in early July, full leathers, it was a little
cool when I took of my helmet. The fun part was watching the
Tourons jump from the minivans run about 20 feet in there
shorts, the beeline back for something warm.

The south tour is a great ride, tho thats a lot of miles at
serious attitude, so beautiful you won't know how worn out you are
till you stop. that will make the beer hauling easier.

Unless you have never been to Estes, between the speed limits and
the campers, I've made my pass thru on a bike. The roads west of
boulder, nederland and wondervu are nice for short trips and
berthoud pass I always hit, usually on the ride in to the area
thru steamboat.

38 a big number, getting 50 people to ride in from around the country
for a personal gathering is work. It would be nice to see.
