There is a way of getting some adjustment out of the cold start system ( "
Choke linkage " also called " fast idle unit " ) , the cold start unit has
an actuating arm that contacts a pin on the throttle linkage , if you hold
the throttles open by way of the throttle grip , you can then grab the pin
with some narrow nose mole-grips and give it a " small " twist , in the
direction needed ( can't remember which way to twist it , but you should be
able to work it out ).
