I am trying to get the fueltank out so I can get to sync the throttlebodies, for some reason though, the top two bolts on the tank that sit by the airbox just turn and don't unthread. Are they stripped or is there something major I am missing. They don't appear to just pull out and the bolts are threaded on the end that I can see. Both of them just turn without coming out.
They are stripped, just like mine. Take a flat-head screwdriver and prise gently under the bolt head while you turn them. Eventually the remaining threads will bite and you will be able to get them the rest of the way out. I've never bothered to replace them, to be honest.
