Thanks for your welcome and interest.

You are on the ball. Following advice from my 'local' GTS'er, John Davies in
Durham, I bumped up the front tyre pressure today from what was 35psi to
38psi and the handling has been transformed. It now actually goes where I
want to, when I want to. The difference is amazing as I am no longer
fighting it, and losing, through slow speed turns. Its starting to flow.

You say your problem was pulling into turns, mine was the opposite, it
wanted to stand up and go straight on.

No longer do the neighbours come out and stand in groups to see me try to
leave the drive, and approaching traffic even on the opposite side of a
motorway is no longer terrified.

As a matter of interest, the front tyre is a Metzeler MEZ1, 130/60, and the
rear a Bridgestone BT57, 180/55, a somewhat curious combination. The rear
seems to want to track longitudinal lines. Both are in a satisfactory state
of health.

Hopefully that's one problem cracked, there are however others that still
need addressing. But that's another story.

If you have any other little gems feel free to give a shout, I'm certainly
not proud and will listen to all advice.

Regards

Tom T
