Pete,

Thanks for the advice. I will check the front wheel side runout at some
point in the future. It's tough to fit simple maintenance in the busy
schedule; Between work, family activities and home remodelling there really
isn't much time. That aside, the bike is outfitted with a 130 MEZ1 and a
180 Bridgestone Battlelax 010. I chose the MEZ1 because it doesn't have a
center veritical groove. Tires with a center vertical groove tend to track
along the rain grooves in the California concrete freeways, which is
somewhat annoying.

Now to Nick question:

"What's the grip like running that pressure?"

The grip is still excellent. In fact, the higher pressure appears to change
the profile enough that is rolls easily into each turn (maybe the same
feeling guys are getting by switching to 120s on the front). The only
negative about the higher pressure is less dampening. I feel a bit more of
the road.

Best Regards,

Jeff B.

Hi Jeff. I'm running a 120 front & 190 rear combo wore them out to
aprox. -1mm of the edges. Never had no wobble acceleraring or decelerating.
The tires are bald now but still track perfectly. However when I bought my
GTS the previous owner had the same complaint as you. It turned out to be a
very slight yet noticeable weave in the wheel itself. Made a wall clock out
of the old one. Maybe a checking is required. Pete.
