uhhhhh?????? I don't think I got anything from what you were trying to say Shawn, except confused. Unless I missed something, the GTS gathering for North America next year (the big one anyway) is in Denver on June 21st weekend.
Speaking about IB rides; I have a proposal for all of you long distance riders to consider. As Rallymaster for this pasts years Saddle Sore ride combined with a fun style club ride, I am considering options for next years ride. From here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada it's about 1300 miles one way to Denver and I was thinking that maybe I could arrange a Bun Burner Gold (1500 miles in 24 hours) for the ride down, and maybe even some of you guys might want to wide it with us? Of course even if you don't, maybe you would like to take part somehow at the finish? Let me hear your thoughts (except Shawn). ;-) Our club, the Black Gold Beemers (BMW club), has initiated and held an IB recognized long distance ride called the "Alberta 2000" (2000 kms in 24 hours) since 1994, but this year we had a change of pace to make it more fun and less intimidating, with only 1000 miles for a Saddle Sore award. It was a blast! I thought since the roads are supposed to be so great near Denver and the crowd types would be a good fit, that maybe I could merge the two rides and increase the distance back to where it used to be in years past. BTW...close to half of our club doesn't ride BMWs, so you could expect to see all kinds of machines with me if this is a go. From the ST1100 to the V-max.
