Hey gents,

I just went out for a great ride here in New York. I keep saying this must be my last
ride for the season, but we keep getting warm weather--warm enough for an enjoyable
ride anyway.

There were bikes everywhere today, and a couple Ducati's pulled wheelies in front of
me leaving Bear Mountain.

I can hold my own in the curves, dragging a knee here and there, even a little kick
stand metal shavings left hear and there...but after 25+ years of riding, I have never
been able to pull a decent wheelie. I know it's not great for the bike, but...any
suggestions on how to learn, save getting on a dirt bike.

I have left much rubber on the tarmac, and shortened the life of many a clutch plate,
and all that I can ever get is an inch or two off the ground at best with the front
tire.

Others make it look so easy.

Any suggestions...other than don't bother?

Thanks in advance

Curtis
