What is the concern? Junk mail companies getting your address? I'm sure my

I cannot edit the content of the archives programatically.

The best I can do is make the archives private, meaning only list
subscribers can read them. We had decided some time ago to have public
archives, however I have made them private for the time being. Talk amongst
yourselves as to how to handle this. :-)
