That would be my feeling too. However, interestingly enough, I use this
email address mostly for close friends/relatives/etc. and of course,
this list. I virtually never get any spam connected with it. Now I have
plenty of other 'aliases' and I get mucho spam connected with them, but
I expected that to happen, I use them for lists, ng's, etc. and expect
it to happen, so no biggie.

Spam is a plague. They should string up all the....ahhh....wait....count
to ten...maybe 20......all better now. Don't get me started on the
'spam' situation. Nope. Really don't wanna go there. There are some
fairly good filters that can be setup, but it won't stop it all. It's
just unfortunate that the www consortium can't or won't set up something
to stop the spammers, maybe someday.....

I have considered taking a huge portion of the archives that I have
saved and 'strip' out the email headers and leave them in that form and
make them public via the web/websites. Info would be available but no
contact. Hey, if they gots questions, they gotta join the list!!!

(And I don't think our 'hazing' is too brutal....)
