If there is anyone from off the continent that might be interested in the NA rally, I'd like to extend this offer.
I've got a '95 Virago 1100 and a '94 KLR 650 that you are welcome to come to the rally in [no charge of course]. (if Kelly Cash can do a cross country on a V-Max, you can do it on a Virago. The KLR would be a blast. It's already been down south of Mexico from Canada) A couple of the problems: 1. Frisco, CO is about 1,250 miles from Winnipeg, MB, Canada, my home. 2. Border crossing inspections to the US these days from Canukastan may include rubber gloves ;) I could go down to the border with you (60 miles) to make sure you don't have any trouble getting the bike across it. If you are from Europe, don't be daunted by 1,250 miles. They are not as long as European miles ;) Actually over here you can just hop on a major route and stay at full highway speed from fill-up to fill-up, and no traffic. Or there are many scenic things in between [Black Hills, SD] on very nice paved roads. At a medium push it's 2 days. Guys like Roger or Dave probably would do that mileage in one go and only stop for gas. Robert Wilson
