Subject: Re: KTMs

I have two KTM's, a 620 LXC and a 640 AdventureR, I run Dual Sports like
the
LA-B to V and Ridgerunner 500 regularly. KTM makes the best bikes for this
in my opinion and they are the majority on these runs. They are completely
bulletproof.
The Suzuki 400 DRZ is popular for lighter riders and rides well as a cheaper
choice. KLR's,BMW's and Honda 650L's are too heavy and either stuck in the
sand are just slower and heavier. Honda 400R with Baja kit makes a good
choice as well, but my buddies with this bike still can't keep up with the
power and suspension of my KTM's. I have been riding enduro's, MX, Hare
Scrambles for 35 years and Dual Sports for 10.
