Like Rog said......no surging on mine either. Just got back from a great ride on mine. In fact if the FJR does surge, you can reset the injectors to enrichen using the bikes instrument panel readouts and no special tools. I haven't heard anyone have surging complaints on 2003 models. Some on earlier European models on the FJR lists have a few complaints, but nothing on the 2003's. A few complaints about throttle sensitivity , but that is the typical complaint from guys riding a fuel injected bike the first time. Only complaint they can get them fast enough. So far it looks like Yamaha has shipped about 1400.
