hahaha, any American knows that this is about impossible. From youth it's
ingrained that you have to beat the others, basketball, football (rugby),
nicer car, bigger house, better pay, fancier clothes, maxed out creditcards
etc.
Next time you drive somewhere, note how many people will PASS you to get
ahead of you into your lane instead of slowing down to move in behind you,
even if there's nobody behind you. Competitive spirit. In some aspects
very good, in so many it's really bad. Seems much more pronounced here in
the States than it did in Europe.
