Not a native but I've lived in Los Angeles for the last decade. I don't think I'd like to move elsewhere as much as I nitpick the locals.The combinations of activities and climate and opportunities makes me love this place. I can ride a bike, snowboard, jetski and do laps in the pool, all in the same day. There are jobs out the rectum here, in just about any field you could imagine, from streetsweeper to top secret aerospace, there are all sorts of people here, from the dreck in Venice to the charming communities in Orange County (south of LA county).
