To Check spark , either , remove the plug cap and plug-in a spare spark plug , then place on cylinder head ( so the metal part of the plug touches the cylinder head ) then spin the engine and watch for a bright spark . Or do the same as above but remove the plug from the bike and use that one , do not place the plug to close to the plug hole , because if you have excess petrol in the cylinder , you could ignite it .
