My wife is thinking of purchasing a Miata from a person in Moosejaw, SK about 7 hours from here. She's going to pay a local shop to have them look it over the drive out to finalize a deal if it turns out okay. It's out of basic warranty, and there is no Miata dealership close to have it checked over. The car was originally purchased in the US but has been registered in Saskachewan after the owner purchased it from a Canadian car dealer, so we're assuming importation was done properly.
Anybody have experience with those american research companies like Carfax or other? Any tricky things from the US that can come and bite you later, that us Canuks might not know about? Please reply directly to me, to keep the non-gts stuff off the list. Thanks, Robert [EMAIL PROTECTED]
