Guys, A friend who has a new 03 FJR and now has over 2,500 miles decided it was time to do some roll-on tests against my GTS. I thought it was an excellent idea, so we found a good open stretch of interstate and did three 60-80 roll-on runs. Drum roll please...... the FJR pulled strongly ahead. The race was over in four car lenghts. I guess that just proves , there's no replacement for displacement. I was however proud of my GTS with 52k on it, box stock, pulled so well. When the time comes for a necessary rebuild I plan to do whatever I can to increase performance with no loss of bottom and midrange power, nor loss of reliability.
