Walley, Interesting information and in no way meaning to be negative. I have looked into the plastic kit before myself. In many applications it can be worthwhile. But.....you can buy a new GTS mirror complete from Zanotti for $109.
$109 minus $35 = $74 minus 3 hours labor and additional labor and time to paint. I think I would have bought a new mirror.
