I have done a lot of mechanical work on motorcycles and automobile but in all my memory I cannot remember the last time things went so smoothly. Installation time for the Helibars was less than an hour and I experienced no cable length problems, wiring problems or fastener problems. Hell, the left hand grip wasn't even a challenge. I had to do a double check to ensure that everything really was attached and that I hadn't missed something. Compliments to Helibar for doing a great engineering job!
I really didn't think that the Helibars would make that much of a change, the ride in to work this morning indicated otherwise. The wrist pain I experienced on my daily commute was gone. The bike has a different feel since I'm sitting up a bit "taller" but after a few rides the new seat position will become the norm. This may be the best money that I've spent on GTS. atb Jeff B. San Diego - Sunny and 80 degrees in January P.S. One additional benefit of the Helibars is that I can now see the clock a lot easier. For GTSers still using the stock bars you can remove the spacer ring between the brake master cylinder and the "kill" switch to allow the master cylinder to be moved towards the switch, thereby providing a direct line of sight to the clock.
