Web devs can use IEs4Linux[1]. It's a set of scripts which automatically download ie versions from microsoft site and run them on wine. They have included ie7 renderer in their beta , which makes it possible to test pages under ie7 as well. Very useful for developing web sites with potential IE users under Linux.
