One thing that I need to clear up is that this onboarding process is for Orbot https://dev.guardianproject.info/issues/4031. Sorry for the confusion. Though, developing a generic onboarding experience doesn't sound like such a bad idea. For now I will be working on Orbot's onboarding experience specifically.
