Hey Silvio, Welcome! This is the right place to post with questions about ChatSecure (aka Gibberbot).
The only way to currently delete the old messages is like you said: erase the app's data. ChatSecure stores all of its data in an encrypted store if you have set a password for the app. When you run "Shutdown & Lock", then all of ChatSecure's data are locked in an encrypted format and not accessible without the password. .hc Silvio: > I don't know if this is an issue, but I subscribed this mailing list > for this since there are no other way to discuss features, like board > messages. > Gibberbot for android is a very good application, but have > a inexplicable feature: keeps a non erasable chronology of > old messages. > Those messages can be erased only wiping all application data. > There a way to erase chronology data from gibberbot ? > where those messages are stored? > > _______________________________________________ > List info: https://lists.mayfirst.org/mailman/listinfo/guardian-dev > To unsubscribe, email: [email protected] > -- PGP fingerprint: 5E61 C878 0F86 295C E17D 8677 9F0F E587 374B BE81 https://pgp.mit.edu/pks/lookup?op=vindex&search=0x9F0FE587374BBE81 _______________________________________________ List info: https://lists.mayfirst.org/mailman/listinfo/guardian-dev To unsubscribe, email: [email protected]
