I got an update notification in f-droid, and that version (14.2.0) installed ok. (It shows "Added on 2002/01/01".) > I am unable to log in to a jabber server hosted via jabberd2 2.3.3 on > netbsd-6 i386. The server logs show: > > Sat Jul 18 21:19:11 2015 [notice] [50] [10.0.0.1, port=33591] connect > Sat Jul 18 21:19:11 2015 [notice] [50] packet sent before session start, > closing stream > Sat Jul 18 21:19:11 2015 [notice] [50] [10.0.0.1, port=33591] disconnect > jid=unbound, packets: 1 Now, on one server (jabberd2 2.3.2), I can log in fine. On another (jabberd2 2.3.3), I get a hang at "signing in", and the first of the three lines above in the log. When trying to sign out (from partial sign-in state), the second two lines appear. This second server has most of a 100 people using it with a variety of clients and no known issues. It does require TLS, but is otherwise pretty stock. (I know I should look at logcat and turn up debugging on the server.) I'm not clear if this list is appropriate for these kind of reports, and I'm also a bit confused at seeing two separate bug trackers and multiple project pages. https://guardianproject.info/apps/chatsecure https://chatsecure.org/ seems to point to github https://dev.guardianproject.info/projects/gibberbot https://github.com/guardianproject/ChatSecureAndroid which points to dev.guardianproject.info, but there are may open issues Greg
