Hola, Mario. Si tenés aplicaciones que están funcionando, no tenés porque migrarlas. Ese tipo de conversiones, por más conversores que uses, no llegan a buen puerto. La manera menos riesgosa de manejar estos casos es hacer una evolución, no una migración.
Si aprendés .NET, Java, PHP o lo que sea, buscá mecanismos de interperabilidad (que los hay en todos los casos) y empezá a extender tus aplicaciones en la nueva tecnología, hasta que en algún momento las aplicaciones más viejas queden encapsuladas y puedas convertirlas de a pedacitos cuando valga la pena, no antes. Migrar de un paradigma al otro es el problema. Convertir tus aplicaciones VFP a .NET de manera directa podría dejarte montones de problemas. Si usaste Frameroot, no vas a tener tantos problemas, porque conceptualmente estás más o menos cerca. El tema fundamental en todo esto es que como vos sabés bien, desarrollar significa aprender continuamente. No existe posibilidad de triunfar en esta carrera con la mentalidad de que uno "ya aprendió".
