Oh, one more thing. I can re-enable ufw, but previous firewall rules
appeared to be gone. Once gufw is removed, however, those rules come
back. So uninstall (apt remove gufw) is necessary to keep my firewall
active on this computer.

Title:
gufw is not working as firewall

Status in Gufw:
  New

Bug description:
I'm a previous user of Gufw in 15.10 and like Gufw. After upgrading to
Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, I installed gufw with python-gi and it was working
fine, until the recent update of gufw. I've noticed that the new gufw
lost the previous rules and not listening to the traffic even when I
connected my local computers (so suggesting that firewall is not
working). After removal (apt-get remove gufw), ufw can be re-enabled
which then restores the previous rules. I think this may be a new bug
introduced in the current gufw. I may need to do additional tests with
gfw too, but I thought this is worth reporting.
