Are you interested in ANY WORKING DEMO or only schemes that attempt to satisfy the cross-platform + security issues being debated? I have a full-blown APACHE CONFIGURATION UTILITY for WINDOWS ( all flavors ) that I have been using since BEFORE you released your first windows version... but the UNIX port is not finished yet. It has Start/Stop Suspend/Pause control over Server, full GUI edit of ALL config files including the use of PROFILES and CONFIG HISTORY, Can show all LOG output real-time and shows run-time statistics real-time using bar-charts and performance graphs similar to NT PERFORMANCE monitor but specific to WEB SERVER performance. It can even turn the LOGGING on/off on the fly in case a client is reporting a problem and you want to do some data capture on a specific request from a specific client without bothering other active users. Lots of other stuff including a real-time list of all clients/users and all downloads in progress as well as a 'knock off' capability to toss someone off the site immediately ( Like BBS SYSOPS are used to seeing ). It's all already done... already works great... but only runs under Windows at this time. There is a SCREEN SHOT of this deal which is called THE APACHE WEB MONITOR at the following address... http://www.RemoteCommunications.com Then pick APACHE WEB MONITOR link for the SCREEN SHOT and information about the program. Is this something you would be interested in showing at the CON? Yours: Kevin Kiley, CTO, RemoteCommunications.Inc [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.RemoteCommunications.com
