Hello,
My name is Sam le Pirate. I'm
french and working as administrator on a intranet. I'm using IIS4 because it's
free and easy to use and manage. OK, here the letters is not really good. My
problem was : IIS4 does not work really great on certain ODBC access on an AS400
database, so i tried my perl code on an Apache server. The result was really
great so i decide to use Apache.mmh this letters smell a little good
now.
Installing Apache Server was not
really difficult, but when i decide to implement some security and script
executing option it was a little more difficult, so i've decide to search for a
Interface like IIS to manage my site server. The
only one i've find was Comanche, and sorry but it's not exactly what i was
searching. It can do nothing...
So i've decided to create my own
ApacheGUI Interface Project, i start it the 11-05-99 at 18:12. I'm working on it
and develop it in VB (sorry, i'm not as good as you are) and i put my sources on
a web site :http://members.xoom.fr/ApacheGUI.
So if you think my project is
not as crazy as you think, please link me to help me in finding some people
interesting to develop an Interface for your great Web Server.
Sam le Pirate
ps: excuse me for my poor
english...... |
