Yes, we shouldn't *force* anyone. There are many ways to contribute, and some people may have some urgency that makes more reasonable to keep the money for themselves and donate later when their personal situation is better.
We need to find a good way to encourage people to do this in a constructive/positive way, without them feeling forced to donate. I think Steve has done a great job in this regard with his recent email about donating to Guix.
