Perhaps I was unclear, but I really think this is a complicated issue! While there are a lot of updates in guix which are arguably not copyrightable, there are definitely significant portions which are... figuring out which is which is a non-trivial task... I would argue keeping all the *years* is certainly not needed, but removing copyright lines without the consent of the copyright holder is on the questionable side... Removing *all* of the copyright lines would almost certainly be wrong... live well, vagrant
