To be precise, I “officially” announced in [1]:

The Discussion period started on Sat, 28 Feb 2026.
The Discussion period ends, at best, on:

            Monday, 30 March 2026*

Well, we screwed a bit up about the start of the discussion – the
discussion started before being “officially” sponsored [2]. :-)

I just want to make it clear that the “official“ announced had been on
Tue, 03 Mar 2026 17:44:54 +0100 [1]. Anyway, I’m picky here and it’s
pointless – what’s 3 days? ;-)

Well, being time-bounded is by design and IMHO discussing such seems out
of the scope.

Please note we still have time! And I’m confident that we’ll reach a
consensus.

Maybe I misread, from my understanding, some points still need to be
discussed and I’m working on integrating the various feedback – let be
honest, Codeberg’s web-interface sucks! for this task – in order to
propose an updated version…

…For instance, this should be part of Maintainers role: they apply the
Guix project policies; as explained elsewhere.

Again, I’m confident that this GCD is going in the right direction and
we’re almost there for crossing the final line… on time. :-)

Cheers,
