It seems like yesterday you held me in your arms, close to your heart, rocking me to sleep.
It seems like yesterday I used to sit on your lap and you used to tell me stories.
Not fairy tales, but stories about our family.
It seems like yesterday you dropped me off to pre-school assuring me that everything is going to be ok.
It seems like yesterday you wiped away my tears when I had my first bicycle accident.
It seems like yesterday you held my hand while crossing the road.
It seems like yesterday you punished me for doing something wrong (then made it up to me buying me something).
It seems like yesterday you attended my stage performances and had the proudest smile on your face.
It seems like yesterday you dropped me to my first party and stayed up till I got home.
It seems like yesterday you grounded me for either being home late or not doing well in my studies (you still made it up to me by buying me something).
It seems like yesterday you dropped me off to university and let me begin my life as an adult.
It seems like yesterday you emailed and called me everyday when I was away.
It seems like yesterday that I lost you?forever!
The pain of knowing that you are never going to be there for anymore occasions will never go away. But those ?yesterdays? will always be cherished.
Wishing everyday you were still here Daddy.
You are the best dad anyone could have ever wished for! I love you and miss you Daddy.
