LOL.

The Parade sword in the Royal Armouries is 7 feet long.

But that was based on a 15 or 16th C zweihander - Which is the biggest
of all European swords.  Bigger even than the greatswords.  
[And more used like a staff]
[not all swords happened at the same time.... most rpgs tend to think
this isn’t true]
