After some thought, I've decided that before I do any more promotion of contact power as a viable arcology vehicle energy source, maybe there should be a little more discussion about arcology design parameters in Traveller. But that is a topic for another thread. On Mon, 3 Apr 2006 18:47:54 +0200 (MEST), "Onno Meyer" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >ArcoTech Van v1.0 (GURPS Traveller TL9) > Copyright 2006 by Onno Meyer

Okay now, even *without* contact power that's a bit much. Two rE-cells for 10 hours of operation should be *more* than enough for an intra-arcology vehicle, providing a 400 mile range at top speed. (This range can be increased by travelling more slowly.) >Subassemblies: Body +3, four small Wheels -1. >Powertrain: 15-kW wheeled drivetrain; four 270,000-kWs rechargeable E > cells. >Occ: RCS. You do realize you'll have spec out some trailers for the hitches on this and and the maintenance cart, right? You're hiring munchkins as drivers now? -- Dalton "who is following the yellow brick road - in a cargo van?"
