Considering the large population of engineering gearhead types on the
list, I've got a question on what it might take to shatter a
planet. The scenario would involve some sort of kinetic spike
slamming into the planet and causing it to shatter. I'm thinking
some sort of dart moving at a fraction of the speed of light and a
couple thousand meters in length.
How close/far am I and what would be a more optimum solution?
