You specify the ST of a crossbow when it is made. Cocking time depends
on the relationship of your ST and the crossbow's ST. There's nothing
to stop you _firing_ a much stronger crossbow, as long as you have
another way of getting it cocked. If you want to load it yourself in
minimum time, make its ST no higher than your own.

Does altering the ST rating of the crossbow affect its monetary cost any?
