Seria is a great nun -- albeit a sly, manipulative, SNEAKY nun.
Mike's question refers to the anime series Kaitou Saint Tail, about a
magician-burglar who takes back things that were wrongfully (if not
necessarily illegally) taken and returns them to their rightful owners.
Seria is her best friend, a novice nun to whom people have a tendency to
turn when they need the sort of help that someone like Saint Tail can
provide.
She does have some uncanny-bordering-on-the-supernatural means of
gathering information, the ability to make people not want to lie to
her, and knows her friend so well that she can always push exactly the
right buttons to get her to do exactly what she wants her to (most
frequently to go on jobs that she wants nothing to do with).
