It would be especially interesting to run as an online game with one set
of PCs working at cross purposes with the other; the manga and anime's
emphasis was on the cat-and-mouse game between the thief and the
detective who was obsessed with catching her, and was unaware that she
was the classmate he was refusing to admit to himself that he loved.
Not to mention the way she played the game, with the trademark of
announcing each job to him beforehand (in frequently bizarre and
elaborate ways) so that he would be on hand and she could have the fun
of slipping through his fingers despite all his best preparations (and,
in the process, exposing the chicanery of her "victims" so that the
people who had committed the initial wrong got what was coming to them),
